Our Medical Director-Dr. Rohith R, complet- ed his MBBS from Amala Institute of Medi- cal Sciences and DNB Ophthalmology from Giridhar Eye Institute with fellowship in Phaco and Refractive Surgery from Udupi, and additional feathers with FICO and MRCS Glasgow & Edinburg. He has conducted over 10,000 surgeries in most ophthalmic sub-specialities.

Lenses
Single vision lenses : These lenses are designed to correct a single vision condition, such as myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness).
Bifocal lenses : Bifocal lenses have two distinct areas of correction, typically with the top part of the lens used for distance vision and the lower part used for reading or close work.
Trifocal lenses : Similar to bifocals, trifocal lenses have three areas of correction, with the top part of the lens used for distance vision, the middle part used for intermediate distances, and the lower part used for reading or close work.
Progressive lenses : Also known as multifocal lenses, these lenses provide a seamless progression of correction from distance vision to intermediate and close work, without any visible line between the different areas of correction.
High-index lenses : These lenses are made from materials that are denser and lighter than traditional lenses, which can make them thinner and more comfortable to wear, particularly for people with higher prescriptions.
Photochromic lenses : These lenses darken in response to UV light, providing automatic protection against sunlight and glare.
Polarized lenses : Polarized lenses have a special filter that blocks horizontal light waves, reducing glare and improving visual clarity, particularly in bright outdoor conditions.
Anti-reflective lenses : These lenses have a special coating that reduces glare and reflections, improving visual clarity and reducing eye strain.
Blue light blocking lenses : These lenses filter out blue light emitted by digital screens, which can help reduce eye strain and fatigue associated with prolonged screen use.
